Comment on The “R-Word”. by Garland Norton Jr.
Wow! Armed only with various fragments of knowledge that seem to ignore some of the very basic and easily discernable tenets of the Pulse and Pattern of Life that have, for billions of years, set the stage and marked the course of all our destinies, many of you seem to have engaged in the somewhat childish exercise of pointing to the skid marks in each other’s drawers and railing about the stench of each others butthole while exalting you and yours for what fine specimens of humanity you are. Much spiritual revelation and scientific advancement seem to have eluded you, some of which strongly suggest that the weapons of negative discord you aim at each other do more harm to yourselves than to your intended target in that such activities limit your development by making you stupider. It’s a process of self-induced stupification that you seem to be engaged in. Sure, denigrating others and exalting oneself will give you a quick dopamine fix, making you feel good while massaging your vanities, but that process merely seems to align you with other forms of self-destructive, addictive behavoir. Don’t get me wrong. You all have points to make, but you don’t seem able to present them as a highly -informed coherent whole without digressing into vilification and name-calling. It’s seems that most of you are caught up in a never-ending dualistic mind-fuck trap unable to utilize singularity-based models of thought much less the dialectic model that allows for development of thought beyond that which you already possess. Stuck on stupid or rather stupification I believe it’s called. An addictive agenda that leads nowhere. Your perceptions of humanity, human history, the processes of life, and viable projections of the future seem stilted and woefully incomplete. I know children who, are with only a modicum of knowledge, can put together better arguments, debates, and presentations of thought than most of you. Your comfort zone is too small. You sound like court jesters while giving evidence to a greater intelligence than you’re displaying.
