Come unto me all ye sinners, but not George Washington or Robert E. Lee

Our Most Holy Church of Political Correctness is today’s true Church and our state religion. It’s the only Church that will strip you of your job and your social standing if you commit blasphemy against it. So by comparison, other Churches today are pallid leftovers from a bygone era.

Our Most Holy Church of Political Correctness has many campuses that oversee the doctrinal purity of parishioners in Alexandria, VA., and one of those campuses, which quaintly still calls itself “Christ Church,” was recently found to be in a state of sin itself. On either side of its altar are plaques that commemorate founding member George Washington and worshipper at the church from the age of three Robert E. Lee.

Last week parishioners were sent this in a letter:

“The plaques in our sanctuary make some in our presence feel unsafe or unwelcome. Some visitors and guests who worship with us choose not to return because they receive an unintended message from the prominent presence of the plaques.

The church stated that it would relocate the plaques:

“The new display location will be determined by a parish committee. That location will provide a place for our parish to offer a fuller narrative of our rich history, including the influence of these two powerful men on our church and our country. We look forward to this opportunity to continue to learn more about our own history and find new ways to introduce it to the wider community.”

That caused ecclesiastical rumblings in the not yet fully sanctified Church of Twitter:

Washington was a brilliant man and one of the great Founding Fathers who created our magnificent democracy. How can anyone be “upset” by a plaque honoring him?
Would they prefer a plaque for Lenin or Stalin? (I suppose some PC Leftists actually would).

Shame and guilt over our history and cultural heroes go hand in hand with our dispossession and genocide.

White self hatred is indeed SICK!
